En la wikipedia hay un articulo genial en el que se muestran comparativas de ancho de banda entre distintos dispositivos, protocolos etc.. tanto referente a redes como a dispositivos de hadware, buses etc.

Me he tomado la libertad de copiar y pegar la tabla comparativa en el post que estás leyendo pero podéis encontrarlo de forma integra en éste link a la wikipedia.
